Draft positioning question

Due to others in my league choosing to shift to the end of our 10 team draft, I basically now have the option of drafting either the 5, 6, 7 or 8 position in our snake draft. Does it make sense to shift back to 7 or 8 position so will get a better 2nd round pick or should I jump at the 5 spot??

I have the 5th pick in a 16 team league and am looking to trade down. Unless you want a top qb instead of a running back with the 5th pick, i would go to 8 and move up in round 2.
